Three Health Benefits of Eating Miso Soup in the Morning

I decided to eat miso soup every morning because there are a lot of health benefits in miso soup and it is especially good to have it in the morning.

 

So what are those health benefits?

 

First, miso itself is very good since it is made from soy beans and soy beans contain a lot of isoflavones. Isoflavones are said to reduce A.G.E., Advanced glycation end products, which are considered to be the cause of many diseases and aging.

 

Through fermentation process, miso has better effects than soybeans themselves just like natto does.

 

Why is it good to eat miso soup in the morning?

 

One reason is that it warms up our body.

 

Another reason is that it helps our sleep at night. What is important in our sleep is a hormone called melatonin, and an amino acid called tryptophan produces it. Miso contains tryptophans and it takes about 16 hours for tryptophans to become melatonins. So if we eat miso soup in the morning, tryptophans we get become melatonins around the time we go to sleep.

 

Also miso soup promotes fat-burning if you eat it the first thing in the morning.
