Ikigai Diet is a long term diet and it is a diet you want to continue for the rest of your life. The reason why it allows you to indulge yourself with occasional pleasures is that it is easier for you to continue this way.
However, if you have some serious problems, you need more drastic measures, and a diet such as a macrobiotic diet or a raw food diet is more effective to cleanse your body.
You can apply one of them for 3 to 6 months, and you will see a big change in your body. You want to choose one method and stick to it though. As it says too many cooks will spoil the soup, you don’t want to mix diets, but follow one particular approach and get on with it if you want to see some results.
