I just got back from a trip to north Kanto area, and it was nice to visit there again. As I said in the book Zen and a Way of Sustainable Prosperity, I used to live in Tochigi Prefecture which is in north Kanto and that is the place I began my rural life 10 years ago.
I attended an event at a farm called Ohisama Farm in Ibaraki Prefecture, where many readers of my novel Hyakusho Revolution gathered.
It was wonderful to see them. Many of them have become interested in Satoyama lifestyles. Especially after the typhoon and earthquake, many people seem to feel that they need to shift their ways of living. Han No Han X is definitely gaining popularity.
