Ikigai Dinner in Satoyama Near Lake Biwa

Posted by

We had a couchsurfer from Germany this time.

Jan and Takumi

Jan from Hanover. He is the third German person staying at our house this year. We seem to have a lot of connection with German speaking countries these days if we include the Austrian family.

We had the usual Ikigai dinner; fermented brown rice with miso soup, Natto, cold tofu, cold eggplants, cucumbers with vinegar, and some pickles.

Jan is very much into healthy diet, so he seemed to have enjoyed the food tonight.
